It started in Mama’s kitchen

Nestled in the heart of historic Anoka, Tasteful Delights began on a snowy winter day in Mama’s cozy kitchen. What started as heartfelt recipes shared over steaming mugs of tea has become a neighborhood restaurant and tea room, serving homemade Slavic comfort food and Eastern European favorites — everything made from scratch.

Seasoned blend of gluten-free rice and roast veggies, slow-cooked in a rich tomato sauce. Served with a side of green salad and sour cream.
- Authentic Chicken Kyiv $18.99
We start with a tender chicken breast, carefully pounded thin and generously filled with a rich blend of herb-infused garlic butter. Coated in a light, crispy breadcrumb crust, fried and baked to a perfect golden brown. Served with a green salad.
- Ukrainian Beef Borscht $5.99
A hearty beet soup with tender beef and fresh vegetables, finished with dill. Sour cream on the side.

The cafe/tea room is a gem. We had a wonderful bridal shower here for 18 guests. Inna was the contact person and was very helpful in organizing. Everything tasted wonderful and was professionally displayed. The menu has a lot of variety and is reasonably priced.
Tasteful Delights is such a wonderful restaurant! The food is always of the highest quality and the staff are so kind and helpful. My family loves their soups especially. Highly recommend visiting!

- We’re on 7th Avenue just south of 38th Avenue in north Anoka, a few blocks from Anoka High School. We’re a small, cozy restaurant, so it’s easy to drive past — look for the Tasteful Delights sign. Parking is available right at the building.

Good to know
Do you take reservations?+
Yes — book a table online for up to 6 guests. For 7 or more, send us a request and we'll arrange it. Tables are held for 30 minutes after the booked time.
Can I order online for pickup or delivery?+
Order from our dine-in menu on this site for pickup — today at least one hour ahead, or up to 3 days ahead — and earn rewards points on every order. For delivery of the dine-in menu, use DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub or Toast. Bulk orders, holiday meals and cakes we deliver ourselves across the Twin Cities metro — Anoka, Hennepin, Ramsey, Dakota, Washington, Scott and Carver counties (minimum order $50, $2 per mile).
Can I cancel my online order?+
Yes — open your order page from the link in your order email and press “Cancel this order”. Any order can be cancelled before we confirm it, and restaurant orders also up to 5 minutes after. Once we've confirmed a bulk order, holiday meal or cake, please call us. You're refunded in full.
Do you cater events?+
We cater weddings, corporate events, showers, celebrations of life and festivals — from 8 to 1,000+ guests. Tell us about your event and we'll put together a menu.
Do you make custom cakes?+
Yes. Order one of our classic Slavic cakes online, or request a custom or number/letter cake.
